Congratulations Card

Good morning bloggers,

Did you have a nice weekend?   I hope so.  We visited my Aunt and Uncle in Vermont.  The trees were gorgeous and it was great to see family and catch up.  The last time we were there was 6 years ago and it was fun to see the babies and kids growing up.

Today's card post is a celebration card.  My brother Christopher is 19 years old.  Last week he found out he passed his GED tests so he is now a high school graduate.  It was really a challenge for him.  Traditional school did not work for him so we were glad when he got involved and found an alternate way to get his degree.   Saturday he went to look at Southern Maine Community College and applied to their automotive mechanic program.  He is excited about the prospect of college.

I used a combination of papers and dies to make this card.  A few weeks ago I won some Cat's Pajama's die's and this one is now a favorite.  This die makes this beautiful flower image that is in the upper left corner.  The other dies are a combination of My favorite things and Papertrey ink.  I really wanted the sentiment (PTI ) to take center stage with this one and I think the mat layers and fun papers really pull it off.

Thanks for stopping by, have a great day.
